Few weeks in the past, all of the sudden, the movie maker Gunasekhar introduced Shaakuntalam and the film lovers have been shocked how the director determined to begin this film when he devoted years for Rana Daggubati starrer Hiranyakasyapa.
The director Gunasekhar revealed that he has to attend for not less than 6 to eight months to take Rana starrer Hiranyakasyapa to units because it requires large quantity of stunt artists and background artists to begin the taking pictures. So, he determined to begin the film Shaakuntalam, retelling of epic story from Adi Parva, Mahabharatam. Yesterday, the movie maker Gunasekhar took to Twitter to disclose the greatness and legacy of Shaakuntalam. This epic drama Shaakuntalam by Kalidas was the primary Indian drama translated into overseas languages. After William Jones translated it in 1789, later it was translated into 46 overseas languages corresponding to Norwegian, French, Italian and so on in the 12 months 1889.
In keeping with Gunasekhar, the upcoming movie is all about the story of Shakuntala, daughter of the sage Vishwamitra and the apsara Menaka. It’s primarily based upon an affair, secret marriage, separation of imprecation and reunion of immortal love of Shaakuntala and Dushyant.
